How to submit an aerobic maintenance report in Fort Bend County, Texas

Fort Bend County’s permitting authority is Fort Bend County. Maintenance providers submit the 30 TAC §285.91 report through the county’s online portal.

MyHD Customer Portal: maintenance inspections are entered directly ('Enter Records Directly') or bulk-loaded with 'Launch Data Wizard' from a .csv, .tsv or .txt file; maintenance contracts are uploaded one at a time. May 2025 notice to a third-party records product users: export the CSV and upload it to the county's online portal; county stopped collecting inspection data by other routes on 3/19/25. The 14-day filing rule and refusal of fax/mail are reported from prior notes, not seen on the fetched pages.

What every Texas report must contain

  • ·The date of the visit and the name and licence number of the provider or technician who made it
  • ·The system owner, the address and the permit number
  • ·Readings taken: chlorine residual, effluent quality, sludge and scum where applicable
  • ·Whether the disinfection device held an adequate supply
  • ·Any maintenance, repair or part replaced during the visit
  • ·What the owner was told to do, and the provider’s signature

The two clocks

A conventional aerobic system with surface application is tested every four months, and each report is filed within 14 days of the test — to Fort Bend County and to the owner. Miss the second clock and the visit still happened, but the record says it did not.
